VIAOR's "ColorPop" Fashion Show- Review

I was delighted to accept the colorful and sultry invitation to attend Viaor's break out fashion show on 2/19/17.
Now with this review, it is a known fact that I have close ties with Viaor and the ladies of Tulipz that walked in the show. Viaor is after all my bestie and Tulipz is of course the modeling troupe I co-founded with Lipzzz. With all this in mind, I will try to put aside personal bias.
The room for the show radiated with hues of blue and purple. The up beat aura completed with green and pink lightening. It is impressive how her vision transformed a club into a runway.

The opening to ColorPop was outstanding. The ladies of Tulipz did the damn thing! They were bright and fresh popping onto the runway with eye-catching, blues, pinks, and neon yellow. The ladies walked in a way to engage the audience keeping up the energy from the opening.

Therein lies the thing I did not like about the show. The flyer, the room, and the opening all meshed well together. I was disappointed in the outfits themselves. They are creative but, in no way do they flow together or with the rest of the fashion show. Even if we were to separate the clothes from the show all together, the pieces look like separates versus a collection or runway ensembles. Individually, there are impressive innovative designs. It is just all together the collection is off key.
Of course to each their own. I just really look at the overall production as a designer in the fashion show.
To summarize, Viaor has incredible potential as a designer. The organization of her pieces in making collections could
use a lot of work.
I look forward to the next show! Growth is often sought but rarely obtained on VU. Viaor is definitely on the watch list.
